As of today, our business remains operational, our products are in production and in inventory and we are fulfilling and shipping orders in California and across the US.
Nu Skin is aware and familiar with the orders placed by California Governor Gavin Newsom on March 19, 2020. The order restricts all non-essential movements of the state’s 40-million residents to help control the spread of COVID-19 and help maintain the safety and health of residents. It appears that today several other states such as New York, Illinois, and Florida are also putting in place some additional restrictions.
Our teams across the enterprise continually assess new orders or changes to determine whether any additional restrictions will have any material impact on our business—in particular on manufacturing, logistics, shipping, and operations. We are all adapting to a dynamic and fluid environment. UPS operations and locations have been designated by the Governors’ offices in all 50 states as critical infrastructure, and they will be shipping, picking up and delivering even in restricted areas.
You can be assured that we will alert you if we anticipate any impacts on our inventory or your business and make adjustments together to navigate.
Our support and thoughts go out to those in California, New York, Florida, Illinois and elsewhere in the U.S. that are or may yet be experiencing disruptions due to COVID-19. We encourage you to follow local authority and CDC guidance on how to remain safe and healthy during this time.
